Fram Under 18’s gained sweet revenge on a Stowmarket side that had beaten them 4-1 in a recent cup match.
The visitors had the better of the early exchanges but as Fram settled Ethan found a direct route to goal only to be upended by keeper Capon who received a yellow card and conceded a penalty, Sam Bright sending the keeper the wrong way to put Fram one up on 18 minutes.
Owen Pearce shot wide from a Whitlock diagonal pass and as Stow pushed forward a quick break saw Harrison Tompkins find Ethan, his cross was side footed into the net on 28 minutes with the keeper stranded.
Another cross from the lively Whittingstall was met by Whitlock this time his shot rebounded off the foot of the post and rebounded into play, a third goal was on the cards as Fram piled forward and the home side duly obliged, Ethan started and finished the move when the ball ran loose in the penalty area following the visiting defence hesitant to clear a cross.
With the predicted changes in the home side for the second half it was Stowmarket who started to threaten the home defence without creating too many chances and were reliant on long shots.
Harrison Rodwell had a good chance to increase the lead when he skipped past a defender only for his shot to go well wide however Fram got a fourth when Lewis Mansfield’s skill on the ball gave him the chance to shoot powerfully low across the keeper for the ball to nestle inside the post for a well taken goal on 72 minutes.
This was a good performance to take into the next game against unbeaten Leiston Town.
