Framlingham secured a valuable three points against the AFC Sudbury Reserves side that finished with nine players having one sent off in each half.
Sudbury started the brighter and Rose had to make an important save from Tysoe in the fourth minute before the home side settled with Berry heading wide and Danny Smith’s shot was well saved by Wright on 12 minutes.
Fram were finding space on the right with Fryatt and Smith pushing the Sudbury defence back. At the other end Fram’s keeper Rose tipped a shot over the bar from a Mayhew header before Fram had two glorious chances to score, Ling and then Berry had shots saved.
On 33 minutes Fram took a deserved lead when Ling's floated cross was headed goal-wards by Thorpe and as the ball was cleared by Girling it rebounded off Jimmy Mayhew.
Although Sudbury were having good possession the goal threats were coming from the home side and as a result of a tackle on Thorpe Sudbury’s Girling was shown a second yellow on 40 minutes.
Fram scored two second half goals on 46 and 50 minutes when firstly Fryatt finished from close range and a Willet shot was parried by the Sudbury keeper for Berry to find the net from the rebound.
As Sudbury pushed on, Fram's forwards were caught offside on several occasions, however, Willett was unlucky not to score when he chipped the keeper who made an excellent save tipping the ball over the bar for a corner.
Stout defending and some good saves prevented Sudbury from conceding further goals as Fram pushed on, Danny Smith fizzed a shot narrowly wide before Sudbury were reduced to nine men when Renwick was shown a second yellow card on 89 minutes.
Fram showed some good spirit again with Ling prominent as the home side registered their first win in the New Year.
